I have LOTS of new pots, and I will be at the Mendenhall Mall on Saturday, December 14th and 21st from 11:00 until 5:00 or so. Here are some photos to give you an idea of what I have:

I made my first lamp! It was a lot of fun to put it all together, and now I have ideas for more that I’d like to make. I will have this one, and maybe a couple more, next time I’m selling. Speaking of that, the next time I will have my pots out for sale is December 14 (Saturday) at the Mendenhall Mall from 11:00 until 5:30. There will be several other new pots that would make great holiday gifts, too, so DO come see!

Formerly known as the Second Saturday Market, which was located in the Airport Shopping Center, this new market will be held at the JACC  On the first Saturday  of the month. Head over there tomorrow, November 3 to see my work as well as the work of other crafters and “farmers”.  See you there!

 

Though you haven’t put your Halloween costumes away, it is time to plan for any pottery you might want to give as gifts for the winter holidays. It takes me a month to process a pot from start to finish, so if you have any special orders you want me to make for you, now is the time to put in that request.  Contact me at birdnestpottery@gmail.com, or call my cell.

I will be selling my work next at the Mendenhall Mall Craft Fair on November 23 and 30, and December 14 and 21.

Meanwhile I am working very hard to restock the popular items that went home with buyers when I last sold publicly: oil bottles, butter dishes, black pottery, raven mugs, etc. Here are some photos of new stuff here:

 

 

 

I will be selling these pie plates and much more tomorrow (May 18th) at UAS campus during their Community Day on Campus. 11 – 3. Lots of vendors, an elementary art show, and more will be there. Come on out!

I will be at the Mendenhall Mall Saturday May 11 from 10:00 until 3:30. This is a new market for me; I won’t be at Second Saturday Market. Come and see what I’ve got!

I wish the color was better in these photos. I was exploring the range of green glazes on this batch, and the camera, as operated by limited ol’ me, doesn’t show just how rich the color on these pots is. Come see them in person Saturday the 9th of March at the airport shopping center, 10 – 3. I’ll be between AIH and Friends of the Library.

As 2018 draws to a close, I want to thank each and everyone of you that supported me this year. Whether you stopped by my booth to say hello, or purchased an item that I’ve made, I appreciate you. I’m taking a short break over the holidays, but I’ll be back playing with clay very soon. If you haven’t already done so, sign up on this website of mine so you will receive notice each time I am going to be showing my work. That is about once a month, so no need to worry about a lot of unnecessary e-mails.
